Stephen of Borg 2 Posted November 29, 2006 While in space, the Enteprise comes in contact with the Mayan god Kukulkan. This is another personal favorite episode that I really enjoyed, but others may not really like. So this is written on the personal enjoyment level alone. Much like the Goa'uld that are on Staragate, the Enterprise encouters an alien that in Earth's past was worshipped as a god. He is also the inspiration behind other relics of the past such as the Chinese dragon, which is understandable since he looks like a Chinese dragon on the episode. I have always enjoyed episodes of Trek that are based on human culture and past so I really did like this episode. If you are like me and enjoy history and figures of the past, then you will like this episode as well.
Kor37 9 Posted November 29, 2006 This one seemed to borrow a lot from "Who Mourns For Adonais"
youbroughtheryouRiker 2 Posted May 11, 2007 Gave it a 4. Indeed it does draw a bit on Who Mourns For Adonais. That thought went running through my head as I watched this one. A bit more science to it though, with the signaling and zoo of animals. Good writing to it. But if the Enterprise couldn't even read through it the first time, disabling it with the ship's phasers later? Eh.
GhostofMajorHayes 10 Posted August 17, 2008 I gave it a 5. Maybe its my love of history that intrigues me or just that this is a super cool ep. Either way, it rocks!!
