Stephen of Borg 2 Posted June 22, 2005 The Doctor is kidnapped and forced to work on a planet where many of the patients are dying, and the people with a low social status in the society isn’t being given a cure. “Critical Care” is a great episode that shows that the Doctor will do anything to cure his patients and that he’s willing to help out anyone who is sick. The story is great and Larry Drake does an excellent job in this episode as Chellick. A must see episode that has the Doctor questioning his own programming and is shocked to discover the answer the truth when Seven gives him his prognoses at the end. ***** out of *****

youbroughtheryouRiker 2 Posted October 26, 2007 Predictable as chicken soup, but a 5 anyway. Loved this episode. Good health care analysis. Predictable, but just so good to watch anyway.
GhostofMajorHayes 10 Posted December 22, 2007 I gave it a 4. Predictable plot twists, but the parable about modern day health care was well done.
Warrior_Princess 0 Posted June 4, 2008 I gave it a 4. Predictable plot twists, but the parable about modern day health care was well done. I have to agree with you about our modern health care system. Loved the episode! One of my favorites that centers around The Doctor. True genius.

He Who Shall Not Be Named 2 Posted June 3, 2011 We're talking about a computer program here. Did anyone think to, you know, like, make more than one copy of the program?
VaBeachGuy 12 Posted June 4, 2011 We're talking about a computer program here. Did anyone think to, you know, like, make more than one copy of the program? They tried in one episode and it failed within a minute or two. I think it was in "Message in a Bottle". Then there was the backup module that was stolen in "Living Witness".
