This episdoe was simply beautifull.

I was crying the whole way through.

The death of the doctor's daughter was so touching

I give it a 10/10

Sad episode :nono:. I hated the Doctor's family at first. They were annoying and, well, stupid. That whole baby bird thing is totally untrue, but that's a different story. After B'Elanna's refit of the Doctor's family I thought they were still a bit annoying, especially the son, but they were pretty real and the ending was really sad. Definitely one of the saddest Trek episodes I've seen, and if it's sad enough to make me cry then it must be really good!

I'm giving this one a 5. I don't often like the really emotional and touching episodes (such as TNG's "Offspring"), but this one I felt. I experienced with this one. I even started to well up a little. Picardo really pulled this one off, especially when he first ended the program, unable to face the resolution of it. Great close. Side story with Tom was cool too.

really good episode, but I don't know if I'd tell my daughter in her final minutes that she was going to die. Can you imagine knowing? With family around, I'd still be freaked out. If it were me, I'd just let her feel like she was just going to sleep.
