HRH The KING 0 Posted June 8, 2005 A classic episode, with the appearance of Scotty from TOS. Superb performance from James Doohan. It was an endearing bittersweet role where he felt lost and obsolete in the ultra-advanced environment of NCC 1701-D, and of course the classic scene with Picard on the bridge of NCC 1701. Aside from the obvious brilliance of seeing Scotty on TNG, we saw a new starship design in the Sydney Class Starship and an incredible concept in the Dyson Sphere. Superb. Gold Standard Rating =
Data 0 Posted June 8, 2005 I agree with King, Relics was a great episode. Doohan was fantastic. I particularly liked his little advice to Geordi. Don't ever tell the Captain how long it is really going to take. You will never be considered a Miracle Worker. So that is why Kirk kept pushing him. :( He probably figured out this little trick of his.
Matt 0 Posted June 8, 2005 I love this episode. I really liked the reference to the old TOS episode with Data's description of the drink - "It is green". The episode has everything you could want, even that little "mistake" that you can pick at i.e. "Kirk got the Enterprise out of mothballs", you all knwo what I'm talking about so I won't describe it any further. Overall though a great episode, one of my favourites.
