Stephen of Borg 2 Posted October 17, 2005 A strange pod is found in a spatial distortion, it is discovered that there is a lifeform inside. Meanwhile, Archer approves of Major Hayes teaching what he knows in combat to Archer's crew. This eventually leads to a personal competition between Hayes and Malcolm Reed An overall good episode that has it's share of action. The most interesting part of the episode is the tension between Hayes and Reed. We also see the start of the T'Pol/Trip relationship. youbroughtheryouRiker 2 Posted June 29, 2007 I gave it a 3. I don't really get what that stranger was for, and it didn't make a whole lot of sense. Maybe that was the idea. Who knows? T'Pol and Trip...not really buying it though Blalock and Trinneer really did give it a good effort. Hayes and Reed were the best part though.
