HRH The KING 0 Posted May 25, 2005 Thankyou!!!!! B) It was incredible. We were 3-0 down at half time and my heart just sank. I hadn't planned on watching it due to the stress, but I couldn't resist. We scored THREE goals in SEVEN minutes to level it. Then in extra time, Dudek made that incredible save from Shevchenko and did the same in the penalty shootout and we won it. Unbelievable. Liverpool FC have brought the European Cup back to Liverpool and are currently touring the city in a bus before half a million people and proud Reds fans. The greatest day of my life to see my beloved Reds bringing that beautiful cup home, and since we've won it for the fifth time, we get to keep it forever!!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Liverpool FC Victory Parade Winning the UEFA Champions League was a super-human effort. No one gave us a chance. They ridiculed and insulted us, ruling us out with every match, even as we got closer and closer to the final, and even in the final, we never gave up, and just kept fighting and battling. The Gateway is at Anfield, our home stadium and practically hallowed sacred ground. These are the Shankly Gates, another tribute to the first legendary Liverpool manager, Bill Shankly, who made Liverpool FC into a virtually invincible force in European and English football. This is the Hillsborough Memorial. It is located at our stadium Anfield, in tribute to the 96 Liverpool fans who tragically died in a crowd crush during the Hillsborough Disaster in Sheffield on April 15th 1989. This is Anfield, home of Liverpool Football Club. And of course, this is the UEFA Champions League trophy, otherwise known as the European Cup.
