BlueCrystal 0 Posted February 11, 2005 (edited) Instead of going to my local computer software store or buying the Turbo Tax program for $40 to $60 like I have for years. I found a site on the internet, http://turbotax.com and paid under $10 to do our taxes this year they also charged almost $25 to do the state taxes. Please pay close attention as I almost bought the deal with doing the state taxes. At the last minute I changed my mind and checked with my state, (Ohio) online at http://tax.ohio.gov and found that the state had the same program and offers it free of charge. So if you need the Turbo Tax program it's online but please check with your state and see if they have the state income tax program free of charge. I know some folks may be pinching pennies and I hope this helps. Edited February 11, 2005 by BlueCrystal

Odie 0 Posted February 11, 2005 I just got all the information that I need to fill my taxes. <_< The joys of living overseas. My mail sometimes comes to Japan really slowly. I will fill my returns before I back to the states.

It could have been because I had waited until like April 10 to start working on taxes. Not this time! Well, I 'll keep this in mind for next year.
Data 0 Posted February 14, 2005 An Accountant does my taxes. I do not want to take any chances. My taxes are always the long forms. The accountant does it online for me.
Yillara Skye 1 Posted February 16, 2005 Going to probably get mine filled out and turned back in soon. Hoping to use it to pay bills from school and stuff. Maybe actually take a short break from work... have not decided yet.
