LordOfTheBorg 1 Posted January 3, 2005 (edited) ok, i need to know what i need to have to hook up my stereo system to my tv, so i can have partial(i only have 2 speakers)surround sound. Is there a special thing i need, or what? i tried just directly hooking my speakers to my tv(cause i have a thing, [its hard to explain], that will hook into either my RIGHT or LEFT speaker jacks on my stereo)but that didnt work. I Just want 2.0 SURROUND SOUND! HELP ME PLEASE!!!! Edited January 3, 2005 by LordOfTheBorg
trekzone 0 Posted January 3, 2005 the stereo system should have an AUX IN, or something similiar. Plug a red and white RCA cable into that from your TV (if your TV's stereo, it will have a yellow, red and white jacks - if it's mono it'll only have yellow and red or yellow and white). make sense? Miss Satoire 0 Posted January 3, 2005 There should be an amplifier between your TV and your speakers. The jack provided on the TV will not amplify the sound enough to power your speakers. So your hook up should be.... TV.... Amplifier.... Speakers. Hope this helps.
