I did not start playing clarinet until I graduated from high school (I am self taught, and in 2002 started to play in my family's band. Well the band also formed that year) I had music class which was part of the curriculum through elementary school, and I was in chorus in 4th & 5th grade. Also played as part of what is now called the Orff group(it did not have a name when I was in elem. school), playing marimba/glockenspiel (there were a few instruments in that family that we could play).
