prometheus 0 Posted May 15, 2003 I was in a bar recently, that had just been opened. There was wood panelling on the walls, brown carpets, tubular lighting and .. wait a minute! This is the flippin recreation deck from ST:TMP! Even the flat screen displays on the walls added to this feeling. Yes my friends. 70s chique is back in a big way. Interior design has gone back to the muted acocado greens and tangerines of the 70s with wood panelling, square seating and chrome accessories avalanched onto every new bar, club ad hotel. And so the Motion Picture too is back in fashion. Forget the pastel pinks and plastic greys of the Enterprise D. That is soooooo 1990 as a designer may say! The Motion Picture is funky again and just goes to show that fashions will go round in circles for years and years....
Admiral Kirk 1 Posted May 18, 2003 I loved STMP's back grounds and interior design. Gene, Robert Wise and compant pulled out the stops for that film. The only problem I saw was with the lighting. Some scenes were just to dark IMO.

Admiral Kirk 1 Posted May 23, 2003 I thought Kirk's Admiral's uniform was the best in the movie.
prometheus 0 Posted May 28, 2003 I liked the uniforms. They were very chilled out looking.
