VaBeachGuy 12 Posted September 20, 2004 I think every NFL fan can appreciate the sentiments in this Cardinals flag. I also have the "40" button in my signature to honor the memory of Pat Tillman. For those that may not know who he was and what he did, he turned down a multi-million dollar contract in the NFL so he could join the United States Army with his brother. I don't know how many teams will keep it there (I know the Cards will) but I don't know about the rest. It's my intention to keep the "40" in my sig, at least through the NFL season in his Honor. "The National Football League and the Green Bay Packers are proud to honor the sacrifice of Former Arizona Cardinal and Army Ranger Pat Tillman, and all the men and women who have given their lives to defend our country". I went to visit the college I went to before I was deployed, and several of my friends made mention that I was a hero. I have also seen posts to this on this board. I would like to point out that the REAL heros are the men and women like Pat Tillman, the people who came home in a flag drapped coffin, or didn't come home at all.
