My brother is coming home this month...

I wanted to announce that my brother is coming home this month after serving his country for 8 months in Iraq with the US Navy reserves. when he comes home, I want everyone to thank him for his service, but also keep a couple things in mind.

 

• Don't press him for details, if he wants to talk about it, he will.
  
• this wasn't easy on him, so try and make him feel welcome here at home.
  
• last, but not least, there is one question I will ask you all not to ask. NEVER ask him if he has killed anyone. this is a very touchy issue with many veterans who have served in hostile areas, so please respect that.

and you are all very welcome. I served my country because it was what I felt I needed to do. I still have 3 years on my enlistment to the Reserves, but I don't forsee going anywhere any time soon
