That's one of my favorite DS9 episodes. The Section 31 episodes gave the Federation and Starfleet a darker edge that they didn't have before. I had always wondered about what went on behind closed doors at the upper levels of Stafleet. I think a small Section 31 story arc on Enterprise would be interesting. Section 31 was founded with the Federation and I think it would be a nice way to tie the series together and foreshadow a little the events we saw unfold in the future on DS9. Similiar to what the episode 'Regeneration' did with the Borg.

This was another good one that I enjoyed watching but couldn't count it as a favorite...I agree with fenriz about the darker side of the Federation and Starfleet...It was a pretty thrilling episode thanks to the creative writing of the staff...Dr. Sloan is a sneaky character.

Section 31 actually pre-dates The Federation, Section 31 was part of the original Starfleet Charter which came before the Federation so there may be members of Section 31 on Enterprise already.

Killer episode ... pun intended!

Bashir really did become a great character. Compare Bashir in this episode to Bashir in Seasons 1-3 ... exceptional development.

I love the Section 31 thing ... I think that there are very good reasons for a group like that to exist. They do the things that have to be done that everyone else is too squeamish to do. Just my opinion.
