VaBeachGuy 12 Posted July 29, 2004 If you take all that Star Trek is, all of Star Trek's fans and everything concerned with Star Trek and lump it all into one category called the "Star Trek Universe", what are we? By "we" I mean STARTREKFANS.NET. If I were to answer that question back on the day that I started this site my answer would have been "Harry Mudd". One guy, flying around the "Universe" and having all kinds of fun. What are we now, a year and a half later though? Are we a small meteor mining colony? A small moon? A planet? A Federation/Empire/Alliance (as in The UFP, Klingon and Romulan Empires and the Ferengi Alliance). How would you define STF in terms of the Star Trek Universe? Mike 5 Posted July 29, 2004 Interesting question VBG..An idea popped into my head that I can't ignore..I would like to compare STF to the planet Bajor..I feel that we have grown enough to compare us to a planet rather than a moon or asteroid..Like Bajor, we are allies with the Federation and would like to be admitted to the Federation some day when they consider us worthy..True we haven't been occupied by the Cardies but at times the road hasn't been free of confict and attacks... The other sites have loyal memeber too, I'm sure. It's a hard question to answer. Where do WE stand in all this? One of the Planets.
