Well my best friend stayed over last night because her father was rushed to the hospital. Now they're saying he most likely won't make it through the night. I just took some pics of her and her daughter and I'm printing them out because they won't let babies in that part of the hospital. Basically it's so he can have a pic of his granddaughter when he dies. This is just so sad. I'm ok myself I just hate seeing my best friend like this.

Sickness and death are always a hard blow. I remember how frustrated I was over the summer when my father in law was having kidney failure and they wouldn't let us bring my daughter to see him.

 

You'd figure that they'd make an exception for immediate family members, I guess it all depends on who you end up dealing with the the great sea of medical professionals.

 

Please tell your friend that a complete stranger out here is saying a prayer for her father!

Thank you. And thank you guys for the well wishes to Robert, sorry I didn't reply to those earlier. My friend ended up sneaking the baby in with the help of a few kind nurses who thought he should see his granddaughter. The elders from the hall have all been in with him and the family is all in state now. At this point we're just praying he dies peacefully in his sleep.

Oh man I can relate about the phone thing. When my mother-in-law was in hospital, I learned a lesson. You can't have a notepad and pen in one hand, and a cell phone on each shoulder. Your neck just won't go 2 places at once! :) :P

I haven't logged in a few days. :P Let's see, my friends father died on Monday. :( She's going to be hanging out here with me later because she doesn't want to be in the house where he died right now. I had to be taken to the ER last night. Don't want to go into details (and you don't want them anyway, trust me). Basically my whole reproductive system is going to hell. I'm under doctors orders to sit and do nothing. Good excuse to be lazy I guess. :) Might have to go in to my regular doctor again today though, I'm waiting for him to call me back. And my baby days are definitely over, so I'll be getting surgery to make sure I can't get pregnant again. That part doesn't upset me really, I've got 2 healthy kids. Robert blew a radiator hose on the freeway last night right about the time the nurse I was talking to said I had to get into the ER right away, so dad went to pick robert up and they got our car towed home and my sister watched the kids and mom took me to the hospital. Long night for everyone. And now we're borrowing moms car until my brother-in-law can come over and fix the car for us (hopefully today). That's about it I guess. I need some breakfast and them I'm going to go lay on the couch and watch tv I guess.
