Parenting goof up of the week. One little slip of the tongue and now Rachael is saying "damn it!" at everything. I can tell this is gonna be one of those things it takes a second to teach her and forever to un-teach her. And it makes it just that much harder to un-teach her when it takes all your strength not to laugh because "damn it!" sounds really funny coming out of a squeaky little 3 year old voice.

Been there many times RC. I know how funny it is also I had to litterally hold me hand over my mouth from laughing when my kids said a bad word. Especially when you son comes home and says Dad I have a Penis! I about lost it.

Oh lovely, as if I weren't already in a horribly foul mood. :huh: We just got a notification that a level 3 sex offender is moving in right down the road. He's been convicted of 3 indecent exposure incidents, rape and assault with a deadly weapon. So why exactly is this guy moving into my neighborhood instead of sitting in prison??? AAARRGGGGG!!!! :huh:

Ouch! I know how that feels - I have several cacti growing in planters on my porch, and if I'm not careful when watering, transplanting, or pruning the vines growing nearby, I end up with similar scratches on my hands & arms.

I've done worse than that, I've grabed onto it reaching for something else when I wasn't looking. :huh: I've also stepped on a small cactus in bare feet. We have aloe vera growing under the bedroom windows and it's the type that's as sharp as steak knives. When you brush your leg against one of those it doesn't scratch, it draws bood every time.

I discovered this week that Rachael can read the word pizza. Whenever we drive by a pizza place she yells "Pizza! Stop, stop Pizza!" If we don't stop she goes "Ok ok, wait *puts her hand out* listen". I don't know where she gets her attitude from. :huh:
