Sure They've Been Entertaining. I've Liked A Few Of Them, But When Ya Get Right Down To It, They've Been Some Of The Worst Movies Ever Made. Why Is This?? Do Videogames Simply Not Have What It Takes To Be A Good Movie??

because there is a level of expectation You have when you go the the movie

Maybe the superhero plot is a little bit too used. Also a lot of the expectations for them are high as tinadoll said. If you expect a lot, you expect a great movie. If you expect nothing it's going to be a great movie.

Yeah, And It Was All CG. Haven't See It Myself Yet. The Only One I Really Really Enjoyed Was The First Mortal Kombat. Resident Evil Was Alright Too.

I thought the Mario movie was ok.Mortal Kombat ruled IMO.

 

As far as the Final Fantasy movie goes I dont consider that a video game movie because it had ABSOLUTLEY NOTHING to do with the game series. But there is hope as there is a movie being made that should be released next year called Final Fantasy VII :Advent Children and is of course based off of the FF7 the greatest Final Fantasy game ever IMHO.

Personally, i'm glad they make movies of various games, saves you the time and trouble of going through all the crud of the games, if you know what i mean . And some of those movies are pretty good: mortal combat; resident evil (great job on that genetic mess of a creature, really ); haven't seen all of wing commander to be honest, i only caught what looked like to be the best parts (you gotta admit, the stunt by 2 of the pilots in the hanger was pretty neat).

My Only Complaint About Resident Evil Is That The Creature At The End Was Too Obvious CG.
