They comapred LOTR fans to trekkies.... with Elijah Wood They said that we trekkies have no emotions and that LOTR fans do... they talk about elves and their beauty while we have the weird sci-fi women... Jack_Bauer 1 Posted June 4, 2004 I don't think its fair to call us unemotional. I mean the script writers and other involved with Star Trek II received death threats for contemplating killing Spock. Malcolm McDowell aslo received death threats because his character killed Kirk. Ok, so that's nothing to be proud of but it shows we care. And let's not forget the letter writing campaigns.
