New Romulan War Ideas

Recommended Posts

(1)
that's why i said it was a new idea

...that violates 35 years of continuity.

(2)

- B&B have created the "mess"

What mess? :dude:

(3)

it's just an idea to solve the plot problems of (1) the Vulcan's have knowledge of the Romulans, past "history" with them.

How is this a problem?

(2) Earth doesn't have a strong starfleet, needs a reason for building up a large fleet.

SEE: Season 3, Xindi conflict

(4)

(3) The Vulcan High-Command has a much more advanced/powerful starfleet in 2154/ there has to be an explaination as to where/what happened to it? Why is the Federation Starfleet dominataed by Earth Designed/Named Starships? where did all the Vulcan starships go?

Vulcans aren't interested in conflict. When the Xindi attacked Earth, they had no interest in going after the attackers, so it's logical to assume that the Vulcans would allow Earth's Starfleet to become the dominant force. As for where the Vulcan fleet went... perhaps they are orbiting Vulcan?

(1) it doesn't violate 35 years of continuity...besides B&B don't care about continuity: visit www.firsttvdrama.com/enterprise/index.php3

just because no one have ever "stated" the Romulan/Earth war began between the Romulans/Vulcans..doesn't change "continuity"

(2) see: www.firsttvdrama.com/enterprise/index.php3

(3) it's a problem because Earth has had 100yrs of contact with the Vulcans/ it's Star Trek canon(TNG-Reunification 1&2)which establishes "kinship" between Vulcans and Romulans.....very illogical that the Vulcans wouldn't have told Us(humans) about this threat....and why T'Pol never said anything about them to Archer during "Minefield" or after Archer's trip to the future..and picks up the book..and said "gee wiz wally, what's the..Romulan Star Empire?"

(4) check your "star charts" buddy- the Romulans wouldn't just "go around" the Vulcans to "attack/start a war" with the pathetic humans...unless you really buy into this new TCW where the Romulans from the distant future start the war by trying to destroy the Federation before it's built. That's a temporal causality loop( and show's just how pathetic the story writing has become.
