Captain Bolivar 0 Posted March 24, 2004 I don't think friends overlook faults, but rather, accept you for who you are, faults included. I also don't think that friends need share the same faults, but rather gain strength where fault existed by relying on the strength of their friend.
Captain Jean-Luc Picard 1 Posted March 25, 2004 Considering ones-self to be perfect is the sign of a delusional mind I have faults but I'm not going to take the world on a tour of them without charging admissions. Small words... from a small being... trying to attack what it doesn't understand.  Sorry, couldn't resist! I'll give ya my ship if ya tell us all your faults right now! *pulls out his tricorder to record the event*
Guest Ktrek Posted March 25, 2004 I have several faults but have learned to temper them or channel them in other directions. Â One of my biggest faults is I like to collect things. I don't know why but I am never really satisfied unless my collection is "complete". I must have every episode of Star Trek on DVD. Every book on Star Trek ever printed. Every official magazine etc. etc. Well, you get the picture. I have to have every CD of my favorite artists even their bad recordings. LOL Recently I discovered the fantastic fantasy books of Robert Jordan called "The Wheel Of Time" series. Naturally I could not just buy the books as I read them but I just had to have the whole series sitting on my shelf right now and in hardback too! All eleven of them! Fortunately I make enough money that my collecting doesn't really affect us financially. My wife has accepted the fact that I collect and says I could have worse problems! Â Another fault I have is my expensive taste. I can't settle for second rate stuff. Like we just spent $2000 on new recliners all leather when I could have spent half of that but I really like quality and want stuff that will last. I like expensive wine too! YUM! but not too much wine. I don't belive in drunkenness. It destroys too many lives. Â Another fault I have is I like women! :) Not to where I would run around or play around on my wife but I like to look at beautiful women. I'm not talking porn here either. For instance I think Jeri Ryan is one of the most beautiful women in the world and I keep pics of her on my PC to look at now and then. My wife knows this about me and says that the day I stop looking at women she'll know I'm dead! :) She knows it's all innocent and that my heart and body belong to her. Â I'm sure there are more but those are my worst that I can think of. Oh yea I forgot.... I'm a procrastinator. My saying is "never do work around the house today that can be put off until tomorrow!" :) Â Â Ktrek
Lubak10 0 Posted March 26, 2004 Interestingly, my best friend and I are almost complete opposites. Same with me. My best friend is extreamly outgoing and I used to be really shy. The only reason I'm still not that way is because of her.

A l t e r E g o 9 Posted March 26, 2004 I smoke. :) UH-OH! AE! JEANWAY! Don't you two know that smoking causes cancer, as well as other problems? Oh please! There is risk with everything in life; I'm sitting here being bathed in gamma radiation from my monitor, the carpet is releasing toxic I don't know what's, there's probably asbestos in the walls of this building, if I went outside I'd be breathing the fumes of a thousand vehicles an hour going up and down the Boulevard if I had a snack of any kind I'd be poisoning myself with preservatives and who knows what else, an earthquake or the taliban could strike at any moment. Why worry about cig cancer, but thanks for expressing your concern bysty.
