  1. Classic TOS quotes I use in eveyday situations:

When my friends car needs gas "I'm a doctor, not a gas station attendant"

When my car will not start "She's dead Jim" trying to humor myself in a bad situation.

My favorite Riker quote when a high speed freeway chase is on tv. "Red Alert!" to let my wife know. :martok:

  2. Spock and Tuvok did just find around humans, I think Vulcan men are better equipt to deal with stress and principals. ;)

In the 22'th century, Vulcans were probably not as good at surpressing emotions as they will be later on.

And they were not used to being around other species at the extent that T'Pol is.

    logical!

  3. The Vulcan Ambassador was right.  T'Pol has spent too much time with humans.  She has become corrupt.

Spock and Tuvok did just find around humans, I think Vulcan men are better equipt to deal with stress and principals. ;)

  4. Thanks for your responce guys, you know it is odd for Trip to be so ..kind with his words too especialy after they killed his sister and millions of people I would have called them ******** and more! :naughty:

  5. Was the use of the word "people" by Trip a mistake to discibe the Insectoids? According to the dictionary the word people means human. Later on the word species was used. :naughty: That scene stuck in my head and I don't know why. I know why, there giant ants man! am I wrong, is it ok to call them that? Other than that it was a good show.

  6. If they do an ENT movie, I'd expect it to conclude the Romulan war, be about the founding of the UFP, or about the TCW.  I don't see how "ship building" would be all that interresting.

I was more concern about the casting of the actors, would they be good commanders? I'm also concern about the Romulan war and the UFP. but I think more than one starship in a war situation, a wing man to cover for you would be more realistic. As far as the cost of the movie, it all has to do with the story line, action and actors, it will have to do 3x's better than the last in order to make the money back in one weekend, I know what your saying $$$, the movie would totally about "building ships" 5 or 10 min. of film I think the movie can be the prelude to the Romulan war and when ever ENT. will ever conclude the Expanse the tv series can pickup from the movie.

  7. I thought of them because they were great in Sliders, these guys are a very dynamic set of actors that are familiar to si-fi. I was sitting here thinking if there were to be a Enterprise movie the movies theme should be about the building other starships, [at least 2] the makings of the Federation and the capt's. with there crew. I thought Jerry [Quinn Mallory] would be perfect because he's a action type of guy like Kirk. Of course Archer and crew would team together in the movies adventures. After the movie in a new season of ENT. they would be regulars sometimes rotating the episodes of the starships, why not, who said Star Trek has to be always about one ship all of the time? What say you? :flowers:

  8. [The vulcans are very cool. They're smart. Also, they have a "religion" or at least a series of traditions that they stick too, and I admire that]. They don't have emotions, so they can think under stressful situations. They might just be a superior race.

    Click for Spoiler:

However, I do also have to say that the Borg are cool too :-)

Vulcan is simular to Earth when it comes to a race of humans, example: On Earth most humans have religion, lets say the Buddist monks who remind me of the Vulcan religion have simular goals, meditation, discipline and focus the difference is on Vulcan there is one religion and Earth many.As a race or species the only difference between human and Vulcan is that Vulcan live longer and are stonger but that does always mean superior example: Spock's half brother Sybok, the renegade Vulans in Enterprise "Fusion" that enjoyed expressing emotions, so the point I'm saying is with out their religion Vulcans are not so superior, T'Pol is slowly getting away from it in my opion. In my opion Vulcan is 95.1 involved in faith the rest are free souls.

  9. No not that one, it's the sene when the Enterprise was in the past and the Borg was invading Earth, Lily wanted to get off the "spaceship" and Picard says hope you can hold your breath, that's when Picard showed her that it was a force field. :bag:

  10. :bag: In the movie First Contact, when Lily was looking out the window of Enterprise down towards Earth and Lily made a comment that there was no glass, then Picard says it's a force field, well then in some scenes of TNG inside the capt's. quarters, when Picard is standing next to the window, you will see a reflection of him or someone coming in the quarters. Is it a writers mistake or something else? Does the star ships have windows?

  11. I have watch the Expanse agin and during the scene when the Klingons were attacking the Enterprise the music remains the same [ rather soft ] like the music in my Elite Force pc game. When the scene showing the Klingons, no battle theme the music stayed the same, it's rather hard to explain what I mean about theme into words, the only example I can think of is Jaws, when you hear that music you know that the shark is around.

  12. What ever happen to the exciting action music in the Star Trek episodes, example: in TOS Kirk's fighting scenes, Kirk's love scenes, Spock's in deep thought theme, the Enterprise coming to the rescue moments or victory. Even in the TNG series their was some of that theme throughout the show, the Klingon's Battle theme made the show more dramatic, the TOS movies made the Klingons really majestic. Now days in ENT I don't here the music or feel the intense mood of Star Trek, don't get me wrong I'm not a ENT basher by no means, however the show is lacking some elements nor am I commenting on the theme song on which I had issues on at first, it the signature action themes that I'm talking about. :hand:

  13. I Haven't Even Seen It, But I've Seen The Ads.  Good Lord...They're Ripping Off Themselves, lol

And Yes, The Voyager Episode Was Called "One".

"Night" Was The Season 5 Premire About The Void.

I agree, however I like a spooky kind of Trek even though the story is a recycle one I always enjoy a simi ghost story

  14. One of Wesley's better episodes and a important one was The First Duty this show launched a favorite ST star, Robert Mc neil [Tom Perris] of Voyager, even though his charater name was Joshua Albert in TNG. Wesley was buddies until the coverup in the accademy, so Wesley does stand out at times. Last time I saw him on tv. was about 3 weeks ago on the Screen Savers on Tech TV. doing an interview at JPL. on the Mars rover, I guess he works part time with Tech TV.

  15. I know books makes excellent stories but time won't alow me do that much reading, however I love to see Whoopi in charater. Has TNG.ever show her living quarters on the show? I don't remember how her personal decor was like, I remember the others like Riker with his trumpet, Data with his paintings and Spot, Warf with his weapons etc. but not Guinan's
