I saw that too last night on the Sci-Fi Channel. Very puzzling..Why advertise it now? The ratings could have been so much better if UPN had done this from the start..I know the official word is that there is no way Enterprise will be back next year..But it does make you wonder about the Sci-Fi Channel..

I also saw the promos and found it interesting that later on that night I saw the TOS episode "Tholian Web" on Si-Fi channel.

I voted 9 and want to give it 10 but I believe part 2 will be even better. It was interesting though, when I switch to SiFi channel later they were showing TOS episode Tholian Web [good timming!]

I did not care for the opening theme, the song sounded angery [like the fans of Enterprise that the show is cancel.

I just heard of the cancellation of ENT. and I got cold chills, hear we go agin. I sign the petition and as angry as I am I had a idea, and I'm willing to put my money where my mouth is, we need to do as the canidates do fund a campaign for a 30 minute spot on tv network or at least billboards around various cities.

Having someone as a campaign manager and volunteers to raise money from Star Trek fans an sci-fi friends including myself { I will donate 5 hundred dollars } for the chest fund. VBG I like to nominate you for this undertaking unless you have another trusting and dedicated fan in mine.

This would be a huge project in a short time but but if all the fans and friends donate for at least billboards letting the public know what UPN is doing is a good way to boycott loud and clear...I think it's going to take more than the petition to save the show that believe and for most of us have invested in.

I anybody on the Forum has opions yea or nea, speakup.

Hi everyone, I been away a while, anyway this season is really has really picked up in points and tonights episoide was really great. Finally there making connections from The Search for Spock to the animated series. The tour of the planet Vulcan is somthing I always wanted to see .

Everything was great until the end, a bad idea with the nazi . No cliffhanger for me!

Enterprise has pickup speed in the last few weeks and I'm very very happy that season 4 is safe for now I'm looking at season 5. I don't know what the producers expectations are for season 4 are but here is my idea for a episiode to connect and explain the newer looking ENT.

In DS9 the episiode " More Trouble with Tribbles" the digital effects and story line is a work great of genius, they used the newest Star Trek show and they connected the old TOS episiode, even Kirks Enterprise look more polished [metalic] without changing the look.

The point I'm making and keeping the same digital effects in mind is applying the same thing in a episiode or two in Enterprise, since Archer and crew have already seen some of there future, why not take a episiode from TOS with a good storyline and write in a related story: for example in Assignment:Earth, Daniels makes another goof and sends Archer back to Gary Seven's mission briefly to Kirk's Enterprise in the 20th century and scans the Enterprise instuments and there technology and observed there mission, of course Kirk and the crew will have no knowledge of this and when Acher gets back to his time Daniels explains to Archer that he wasn't suppose to know this happened in the 20th century and to see Kirks ship of the 23 century, but it's to late Archer's instuments already downloaded the info. With the knowledge of Kirk's Enterprise the crew takes the info.and improves on the technology and somewhat explain the newer look of ENT. :(

Well this story is the best I can come up with, I'm sure B&B and the writers could work out the details, maybe they can have Daniel's explain Gary Seven the other time traveler the guy with the cat! :( Your thoughts please :wub:

Ilea played by Peris Khambatta passed away in 1998, I'm not sure about how but I believe it was cancer she was too young.

At least the world got to see her in her finest moment in the move as Ilea.

The costumes in all the TOS movies were jamming it's too bad that some of the fashions didn't didn't catch on to our every day dress but on the other hand with most of the US population so overweight maybe not :biggrin:

Wasn't there no sound in space in Firefly (the TV series)?

 

They had some good effects on that show too.

In 2001 A Space Oddessy when HAL was giving Dave a hard time in space, the only sound we heard was the breathing in the enviromental suits, the effect was great it left me feeling how quitly cold and a airless vacum space is.

However the sound effects in Star Trek adds to the excitment of the show.

I don't know off hand but I have been busy putting all of my Star Trek tapes I've made onto my new dvd recorder [ a lot of work ] and I'm going to start on ENT. I will let you know when I find it, this may take a while so someone else might tell you sooner.

I agree, there's not even action figure of him in the ENT. crew. I don't believe the main character's are going anywhere.

I'm was happy to here the reference to the Columbia in E2 and that it was still under constrution, it leeds me to belive that they might introduce it into next the season of ENT.

It would also honor the crew of the space shuttle Columbia. :P

Set phasers on stun, Jeanway! We need those fans later to eat crow when they see ENT. going strong next season. I myself don't believe the rumors.

The UnicornHunter  I agree entirely.  T'Pol is to blame for what happened because of her CHOICE to continue taking the drug to get the emotional high.  That descision, from a trained Vulcan mind, cost lives, because when the chips were down she collapsed.  I don't mind how this thing is handled in the show, but for all the world it sounds as if it isn't handled!  Everyone just ignores it.  They didn't take her out of the chain of command when she got Pan'ar syndrome even though she doesn't have vulcan aids, she has something more akin to an acquired Alzheimers and since she is degenerating, there will come a point when her decision making is compromised.  Now she's gone further and got an addiction which made her so incomptent that it lost lives.

 

It would be hard to respect any member of the crew who covered up for her.

I gave it a 6.5 although the some of the Xindi is starting to see the light, that is the best part.

As far as Enterprise being space pirates is disapoiting to say the least, I hope they come back and help the alien ship.

And T'Pol is getting irritating for me, I expect more out of Vulcans, even Spock being half Vulcan had better control over his emotions. <_<

The look of the flip cell phones are already cool, however it is the dumb musical ringing thats annoying, like the other day at the DMV., 20 people have these chiming or musical greeting card sounds ringing every ten minutes, the lines are bad enough

I wish instead I can download a voice alert from TNG. like : "Capt., you have a incoming message from Starfleet" or something like that

Even though there weren't that many of them made, they were the only thing Star Trek made right after TOS went off the air. I still remember how special TAS was when it came on Sat... to here the original voices of the actors and a good story, along with slightly different sound track they had the soul of TOS. I support the idea of it's own forum. I wish there were more made with Shatner and the others minus Mr. Kelly. I'll even go one step further to say a TNG. DS9 and a Voyager animated series should be started.... :) that just my feelings thankyou.

I voted for Enterprise because I love this show even more each time I watch it. Although I would invest in a film as well but on if it was an Enterprise one.
