In Real Science with Andre Bormanis ( I didn't check the spelling, I hope I was right), there were real astronomers and they said that warp drive was possible too!!!

I read at his site that he basically wanted to be the biggest jerk to Anne Robinson, cause she is fames to be. Asides from that I guess he is shirking the goodie two shoes image everyone has always imagined him t have.

Well, it kind of confuses me when a new planet automatically speaks english. No contact from anyone yet they speak fluently.

There is the Universal Translator... Also, if you check Basics Part I & II (VOY), the crew doesn't have their com-badges, which have a universal translator, and no one can understand each other...
