  1. Okay i have my two cents and people please read this and respond because i think this is very important, right now ask yourself if you are racist (im not accusing) but most of us consider that our society is free of it, not completly if it was then this question wouldnt be out there. sorry but that's the way i feel, secondly i do believe that there is alot of diversity in the origional cast and i do believe that they intentioned for that, well that gene intentioned for that, his name comes up so rarely on this site its amazing that i dont hear it more. The origional cast was the most diverse not only by the way they look but research it, they come from places around the world, kirk-Montreal, Doohan- British Columbia (West Coast of Canada) Nemoy's relatives were from the USSR, Koeing- Luithunaina,.. the list goes on though im sorry but i forget the exact places where the other actors are from if anyone could help out that would be great

  2. Well i remember when i was younger watching the first part of the best of both worlds when it aired on TV, given i was young, i fell asleep and had a dream i was being assimilated it scared me out of my mind, and ive had some other *ahem*....inappropriate star trek dreams....

  3. 1st is khan.. with TWOK i think i have to go with him

2nd is the Romulan Commander (From 'Balance of Terror')

    3rdly is mudd

    4th is apollo

5th... well im sorry im not that sure

  4. I believe it was because of the fact that it was the style at the time don't forget when they designed the origional enterprise they were looking for a marketable ship that was astetically pleasing, there was no 'trek following' so no one really read into it as much when they made it. I think that it is just one of those production things that has to be accepted. did the ent e really totally get rid of all the neck?

  5. what's TVland? does anyone remember those old 2 episode DVD sets of TOS i have one with the Trouble With Tribbles and I Mudd on it.. great buy.. does anyone know when exactly they are going to be out, especially in Canada?

  6. definatly the best captain of all... reads alot i just came home from school so my mind is kinda fried, the only quote i can remember from him right now is his quote from moby (Please stop me from cursing) "and he pilled onto the great white whale's hump the sum of all his anger and frustration, if his heart was a cannon he would have thrust himself upon it." great line some of the best wisdom comes when he is with wesely though

  7. Ive noticed a pattern to all trek that with teh exception of TOS it finishes much stronger than it starts.. i didnt like the beginnning of Voy at all.. the ending was much better though

  8. Im not a Janeway fan.. the way i think you have to look at this is, its the way the writers wrote it they may have forgotten something but its in stone now and it adds to her character.. i dont think that she was that happy about the aliance.. maybe a little cautious? so maybe thats why she wasnt that ticked off.?
