    The Rattlesnake returns to The Garden

    Written: August 13, 2007NEW YORK – Former WWE Champion “Stone Cold” Steve Austin will be attending Saturday Night’s Main Event.

     

    The Rattlesnake was last seen by our fans as special guest referee for the Battle of the Billionaires at WrestleMania 23, where Bobby Lashley defeated Umaga. Mr. McMahon had his head shaved after the match by real-estate magnate Donald Trump.

     

    Madison Square Garden will host Saturday Night’s Main Event, and the World’s Most Famous Arena holds a special place in Austin’s heart.

     

    “That is a special building, and a magic place, because of everyone that’s performed there,” Austin told MSG Network in an interview in May. “We’re lucky enough to call it our backyard. When [WWE Superstars] go to the Garden, they crank it up a notch.”

     

    Since every WWE visit to The Garden is a special one, is Stone Cold coming to New York City to get an up-close view of the action? Or will Austin look to leave his fingerprint on an exciting night of action in a more physical way?

     

    To find out, watch Saturday Night’s Main Event at 11:30 PM ET this Saturday on NBC.

    I downloaded it last night (it wont be on dutch tv for 2years) and watched it this morning when mandy woke me up.

    It was'nt the Flash gordon story i was expecting and it was a little slow but thats to be expected coz they need to get in the back story but after that it was pretty good and i am looking forward to next episode :yahoo:

    From me it only gets a 3..not one my fav trek films,in fact it would be on my worse trek film list at the top,yes some scenes are funny but i like more space action then 90% of the film on a planet....i just thought it was a slow moving flick.

    Just saw the trailer for Flash Gordon on Sci-Fi channel. Looks good but Flash is pretty young (unless I'm just a lot older since I last saw a version of this :) )

    Thats what i was gonna say....(clever minds think alike..lol)

     

    Still that teaser was pretty good so as soon as it hits tv i shall be watching :yahoo:

    :yahoo: Its great..i loved it and its also my fav trek film and imo the best of all the trek films,also the very first trek film i saw and it was with my uncle :)

    Last fridays SD was..crap IMO,now i am really getting the feeling the WWE is falling back to the way it was in the early 90's...there is nothing now that makes me look foward to the next show,ok the return of RM and HHH at summer slam is something i am looking forward to but for the rest its all gone a bit boring,Vinnie Mac turning up on Raw was the only high light monday and mabe the Umaga and Cena vs Randy and carlito match next week might be worth watching,just one more thing..NO MORE DATING GAME :yahoo:

     

    Guess i should watch ECW but i am worried its gonna be crap.

    I have every episode on dvd..(not payed for) *sush*..lol

     

    But i must admit i miss it and with atlantis still not airing i have very little to watch these days,i have heard they plan to make 2 films that they will release on dvd but dont quote me on it,as for the Season Finale i didnt think it was that good except one episode where they do the cross over to trek and farscape..that was funny.

    Damn Raw is getting worse by the week :) ...if this is the future of WWE then i am gonna sell my soul to TNA or ROH :eek:

     

    I was just about to watch ECW but i have a feeling its not gonna be much better so i will save it till tonight when there is nothing on tv.

     

    Little B again keeps the CW belt??....it was funny at GAB that he won but now its just plain stupid :lol:

    Agreed. It seems that ever since the Benoit thing that trashed the "Who killed Vince?" storyline, the WWE has had no direction at all.

     

    Why in the world did Johnny Nitro change his name to John Morrison? Johnny Nitro is a cool name. Morrison isn't even his real name. They want him to be some sort of Jim Morrison like character but nobody under 40 years old is going to get it. Also, they need to get Morrison a tutor for his promos. He's got the look and the talent to be a huge star but he does his promos like he's reading off a page. Absolutely no emotion or passion at all. He needs a few sessions with Dusty Rhodes or Ric Flair!

    Yeah benoit turned the story lines upside down and now vinnie mac has no idea what to do,guess it will pick up again soon but it better be quick coz rateings will drop if they keep putting on shows like they did last week.

     

    I havent watched SD yet so i cross my fingers and hope it was worth downloading.

     

    Johnny Nitro i have to admit does look a little like Jim morrison but his blowen dryed hair is like a chicks :) ...i hate this guy worse then his old tag partner..whats his name..half a nose..i mean Mercury..lol

    SPOILER ALERT!!!!!!!

     

     

    I just finished watching GAB. I'm a bit disappointed by it. No titles changed hands except for the Cruiserweight title and that match was a joke. McMahon really showed his disdain of the cruiserweights by giving the title to a midget!... :)

    I dont get it..the CW divison has some of the best action in the WWE...why in hells name did they give little B the belt :lol:

     

    The rest of the show was ok..not top class but i did enjoy it...all i can say is.."We can rebuild him..Bigger,Faster,Stronger..bow down to the King of Kings..THE GAME!! :lol: ...i cant wait till he returns at summer slam :eek:

    we should rename this thread kor37's other log lol just popped my head in here to see what was going on.

    I can understand why! It seems as though all the wrestling fans no longer post on this site so I end up talking to myself in here!

    LMAO...kors other log :laugh:

     

    I am gonna watch GAB later then Raw and i will give my opinion on both tomorrow,if they are as surprising as SD they should be good shows :biggrin:
