  1. In school, my FB position was fullback, so I checked "tailback". I loved to run with the ball, to scamper into the end zone. I also liked "dive" plays where I took the handoff and dove straight ahead into the line! I miss those days. Now I can relive those days vicariously through Luke. I guess that's what dads do, anyway. :naughty:

  2. I just finished watching an episode of TNG called "Boobytrap", and then began watching "MacGyver." Lo and behold... Nana Visitor is a guest star! She is a fishing trawler captain, Carol Vernette (sp?). Rather neat, I think! BTW, the star MacGyver is none other than Richard Dean Anderson of "Stargate SG1". Wild coincidences! :naughty:

Its airing on Spike TV, ST!

The name of the episode is "DOA: MacGyver".

  3. I checked "once a week" , although it can change from week to week. I'm watching an episode of TNG right now on Spike TV. I'll miss the ENT episode tonight - hockey, of course - but hope to view it Sunday. I think Sci Fi has episodes of TOS on late night TV, which I watch from time to time. Having copies of any of the episodes would be "choice". Maybe "Santa" will provide something - hehehe :naughty: .

  4. Woo hoo! It's been revealed at space.com that the space shuttle Discovery is to be the first to return to space since the tragedy of the shuttle Columbia. That is very good news. Here is a quote:

Slated to launch in spring 2005, Discovery flight is set to be the first mission to fly since NASA grounded its shuttle fleet after the loss of Columbia in 2003.

  5. Correction.... there are four....

    prudence, justice, temperance, and fortitude

Each human has approximately 260 million of them and they are divided into an inner segment, an outer segment, a body, and a synaptic region. The outer segment contains (*) rhodopsin, which reacts with light, causing a signal to be sent along the optic nerve. They are not cones but these sturctures in the eye.

WAB, are you referring to the rods? Are these the color receptors in the eye? B)
