I'm so excited that they are doing another Doctor Who show. It's going to be fantastic..The actor they have selected seems like a good choice and I'm sure he'll do a great job..I would have preferred someone a little older but I'm sure he'll be just fine..Anxious to see what the new Tardis looks like..Can't wait to see this show..

Hard to pick just one episode. So I'll highlight 3 as favorites of mine..

Tough choice..I went with Majel Barrett Roddenberry..The voice of the computer..I also have 2 of those Star Trek voice activated light dimmers in my home...So I hear her voice everyday when I turn my lights on and off..

I liked it! I thought it was pretty funny..My poor tribbles ended up on a pizza !??

I just watched Faces again and I have a question...B'Elanna mentions her dadleaves when she 5 yrs. old, in the episode were she wants to genetically
alter her unborn child she flashes back to her childhood and her dad leaving
and she is much older than 5....did I miss something?
Sounds like another Star Trek Inconsistency..The writer of that later episode probably didn't realize that it was already established..(Just a guess)

I don't feel that there is enough interest in it here to justify it's own forum..I would like to see it have a sub-forum off of TOS..Even if it isn't canon it is an extention of TOS in my opinion..

Also, I always thought that while Savvik was a full blooded Human, she embraced her emotions just enough to not seem condescending toward her Human crewmates.Don't you mean Savvik was a full blooded Vulcan?
I also had heard that Savvik was half Romulan but that never made it to the movies..I also tend to agree with RC..It's more about upbringing..

I like that scene on the bus..That punk playing that loud obnoxious music and Spock giving him the Famous Vulcan neck pinch..

Xelo
Valet to Lwaxana Troi prior to Mr. Homn.
(Wasn't easy finding one that begins with X !)

Season 1
Production No. 14
Episode Name: Faces
Director: Winrich Kolbe
Story by: Jonathan Glassner & Adam Grossman
Teleplay by: Kenneth Biller
Original Air Date: 05.08.95
Paris, Torres and Durst find themselves prisioners of the Vidians. The head surgeon/scientist Sulan has extracted B'Elanna's Klingon DNA in order to produce a pure Klingon for his tests. He believes that a pure Klingon can help him find a cure for the deadly Phage disease. In their cell, Paris and Durst are stunned when another prisioner is brought in. It's an all-human version of Torres - the other "half" of Torres that was left after Sulan removed the Klingon genetic material. She explains to Paris what has happened to her and is very weak. The guards return and forcibly remove Durst from the cell. Although Paris tries unsuccessfully to help his friend, all the human Torres can do is cringe in fear. The Klingon Torres is horrified when she sees Durst's face on the surgeon Sulan. He has killed the Lieutenant. It so angers Torres that she breaks her bonds, attacks Sulan and escapes..The human Torres ends up in the cell by herself because she is too weak for a labor detail. The Klingon Torres finds her and helps her escape. In return the human Torres comes up with a plan to de-activate the shields. Chakotay disguised as a Vidian finds Paris and rejoins the two Torreses. The Klingon Torres takes a phaser shot from Sulan just proir to beaming up to Voyager. She dies on the transporter platform but the Doctor is able to use her Klingon DNA to restore Torres to her original self.

Show Quotes:
Paris: Fear can be a good thing. It keeps you from taking unnecessary chances.
Torres: That's the way you respond to every situation, isn't it? If it doesn't work, hit it. If it's in your way knock it down. No wonder I got kicked out of the Academy.
Klingon Torres: Maybe we'll die in the attempt, but that's better than sitting here like frightened Tika cats.
Torres: I guess I'll just have to accept the fact that I'll spend the rest of my life fighting with her.

I'm not sure that I would describe Voayger as cartoony! True, I like the other Trek series slightly better. But I feel Voyager is a good Star Trek series. Now, as to your question..What sets it apart from the other series? Well, the obvious thing is that for the first time we have a female Captain..I have always viewed the female characters in Voyager to be very likable and strong trek characters..Janeway, Torres, Kes, Seven..I like them alot..And let's not forget that we have a holographic Doctor for the first time. In fact he's probably the most interesting character on the show..Fantastic! As with DS9, I'm re-discovering Voyager with the DVDs..And I am enjoying them immensely! Well, that's my opinion..I feel that Voyager is a great Trek series and you should check it out..

I'd like to be aboard a star ship with Alterego at the helm as captain, because he reminds me of Picard. As his second mate, I'd like to see Takara Soong. For not only would she bring Data to the table, but also her own level of insight. As security officer, I'd like to see The Unicornhunter. I personally would feel in good hands with her having that authority. And last but not least, I'd go for Space Tigger as chief engineer. I think he's pretty cool, and could probably take good care of most warp engines. :huh:Wow! I'm flattered Gotabite..I would make a good Chief Engineer.. You would have to join the crew as well..I agree with AE , You'd make a good counselor..

Wow..I had forgotten about this poll of mine. I'm really not surprised that noone has heard of her..It's too bad really..She has some great music and a great voice IMO..I wish I could post part of one of her songs..But I don't know how to do that..Oh well..Perhaps one day you'll hear her name or music and say ..Oh yeah..!!
