Stephen Wiliam Hawing the man has ALS is in a wheelchair he can't talk he can move one hand just and he still managed to prove that black holes exsist and show how to find them.

That in my opinion is true triumph over adversity.  And he is the only person ever to play himself in an episode of Trek.

The man is just awesome. B)

i admire this girl in my class who has cancer. she goes through a lot but manages to pull through.

What if Star Trek had've initially run in the late 70s/early 80s? Would Captain Kirk have worn flares and a silver top? Would Uhura have been roller skating round the bridge? Would Spock have been Mr Groove on? I know the motion picture was made in 79, but would the series INITIALLY have been like this?

Didn't mind Janeway's first hair style but really liked the short style.  Loved Seven's hair when she played Anika Hansen- love long hair just hate living with it.

I think (if I remember correctly) that Chakotay went through the academy and was a lieutenant before he left to join the Marquis. B)

I've got the DVD sitting on the shelf, and I haven't seen the alternate ending yet. I'll get there, I'll get there....

IMHO, I wished they had released the Nemesis DVD in a totally UNCUT and theatrical version. Sort of like the Terminator 2 Ultimate DVD.

They did that with Lord of the Rings as well, in the extended version B)

In math there is a right and a wrong answer, and theoreticly, I think (I may be wrong here) mathmatics can be used to prove things in most sciences, especially in space B)

Shattered was awesome. I also liked Equinox and Year of Hell. Reletivity was good too, and Parallax

My mom. She has done so many amazing things, in '98 she donated her kidney, and a couple years later started training to do the AIDS Ride, a 330 mile, 4 day bicycle ride to raise money for people living with HIV and AIDS. She has also overcome a particularly nasty childhood to help raise a really really amazing family of active peole who love eachother (despite some arguments )
