    well, it's been a while since anybody has started/posted a RPG, any way.

    This RPG is of the Interpid class vessel, that Retaro.

    I am the captain.

     

    We are curentyl docked at Starbase 19

     

    ready for departure.

    This ship is actually an off shoot of my Fleet of ships at my RPG board.

    Captain Manv, stood at the cantina, waiting for his new arrivals.

    Though he was quaranteed a few crew members, Starfleet gave no indication as to who or WHAT his new crew was.

    The bar lady came over and placed a tropical punch on the Captains table.

    He viewed out the side of the starbase, and awed at the new Vessel coming into dock.

     

    Interpid class, the Retaro was a promising vessel.

    The captain stood as Commodore Izzacks came towards the captain,.

    "Congratulations Captain. Your new assignment is here!" He said

     

     

    the Captain was still staring into the warp drive engines of his new "Assignment"

     

    "Thankyou". That's all he could say.

     

     

    The Commodore handed over a touch screen pad,

    "These are the administrative codes for the ship"

     

    The captain took them, as if taking control of his destiny.

     

     

    "Thanks" the captain said again, not taking his gaze off of the ship.

     

     

     

    "I'll leave you to it then captain" the commodore said.

    And with that, he headed off towards headquarters.

     

     

    The captain stood still for a moment, and then started towards the access door.

     

     

    But not before leaving a small note with the bartender for all arrivals to come to the bridge immedietly.

    I'm browsing around the net, looking for a really good, ST RPG. like one that is run by forums.

    Anybody know any?

     

    I'm a member of star-fleet.com

    But, they've been really slow lately.

    I'm in the middle of making my own, it's pretty much finished, but I need some members!!!

    @Manveru -- Star Trek has always been drama.  I've only seen a couple TOS episodes, so I won't judge that series, but even during the action in TNG, DS9, and Voyager, it was always more of a drama.  It's a futuristic soap opera... I think a lot of fans accept and appreciate that, and even Voyager made fun of Trek as a soap in one episode where Neelix was hooked on a soap opera.  What he was observing wasn't much different from the interpersonal relationships on DS9 and Voyager (more so than TNG).

    What I meant was, Star Trek is based on exploring, helping, discovering. etc, etc.

     

    I have no idea how they would fit an Accademy story line into the above.

    It just won't work.

     

    Unless a careless cadet messes with the space time continoum, and transports them into the Delta quadrant..

     

    Actaually, that wouldn't be a too bad of an idea!!

     

    Maybe transported into the Gamma quadrent

    I know this has been contemplated ever since Enterprise carked it.

    But, I have never found a thread that deals with rumors about a new series!

     

     

    I heard that Paramount are gonn await a few more years and make a series about the Titan, Riker's ship.

    Any thoughts?
