Mother's Side: Irish, German  , French-Canadian  , Scott-Irish :toot: , Scottish
Father's Side: German  , Irish  , English (maybe others)
I'm also American :tank: but that doesn't count for anything.
Does Texan count?:vbg2: It's pretty removed from anywhere else, right?
It ends up that I'm about 5/8 German! B)

Lol, well  ...the thing is that I really only actually own one of those DVD players (which is barely in working order) and I have a total of maybe three DVD's of my own. Everything else that has to do with DVD's in our house belongs to my parents.

When I first put my thumbtack on the map I was tempted to stick it in the middle of the ocean, but I decided against it.

Are you sure you're thinking of the right movie? ROTS is still in theaters.
I've seen it three times, but it's probably going to be at least four by the time it leaves theaters.

It's good that Wal-Mart's doing this. Society will gain little by dwelling on the past (I'm not saying that we can't learn from the past though! )
I must admit that I have 5 DVD players at my house. 3 are normal ones at varying price ranges, 1 is portable (cost about $400 new,) and one is a 32x DVD-RW drive in on of the 6 comps in my house. (Wow, this bragging stuff is fun! )
I do still have one VCR hooked up to a TV  and I do use it on rare occasion. I don't use it to record, however, I leave that up to the DVR (Tivo) downstairs.

The parents were being stubborn and irrational about their daughter's life. I can empathize with them about their position, but in the end, Micheal was the correct party.

Yikes, quakes are fun to experiance if minimal...but a bunch of large ones is pretty alarming.

Well...I said LAN, but it's really that we have a wireless LAN hooked into a DSL connection which is really a modified dial-up connection! Did I put down the right choice?

Yay! There's life in this string yet!

I'm pinned. Look towards north-eastern Texas and move your mouse around over that clump until you see my name. (There's a lot of trekkies in and around Dallas apparently.)

'Lost' success means more coming soon

I'm glad that they're catching on. While I do love shows like Seinfeld, I'm glad to see good new shows on TV that have an added story twist. Lost is one of my favorite new shows.
I'm just sad that no-one caught on to the semi-open-ended story arc from ENT's season three. And no, I don't think season three will be the biggest seller like you implied (albeit you may have been sarcastic) in your question because it already has a veiwer-developed 'bad air' about it.
