  1. They shouldn't have remade it. There'll only ever be one Willy wonka and that's the inimitable Gene Wilder.

I agree, from the previews that I've seen so far it looks like it will be a disaster.

    It looks scary

I agree with both of you. If you've noticed some of my other posts or have looked at my signature, you'll know that I like Wilder already. Also, Wilder conveyed a Wonka that had the air of an off-beat genius (awesome! ) but it looks like Depp will be conveying a...well, an idiot with a lot of money. I have nothing against Depp himself, but this role (or at least the previews) reminds me of a certain singer with the last name "Jackson."

  2. Past: Skiing, soccer, basketball, baseball, golf, track, gymnastics, band

  3. ^ about 35 states...but only 2 countries (US & Canada)

< Is more commonly called 'Trekkie' at school than by his real name.

v Are you getting 100's of stupid e-mails from this forum everytime someone posts? (I am...even though I've nixed that setting.)

  4. That's extremely interesting. I've always wondered what terrors (if only viewable to a hypothetical Q-Like outside observer) could unfold if man invents backwards time-travel (we've already proven that we can easily travel into the future.) If these new theories hold true, though, then the multiverse will be, in my mind, a better place.

  5. Your past Is who you are for it has made you the person you are

there for it shapes your present and future.

The future. The past has already happened, the present is happening, but who knows what the future holds.

In a sense, I agree with both of you. I use my knowledge of the past to help me think about and shape the future. The present I needn't think about much unless in a crisis situation because I have already planned the future to enough of an extent that I needn't worry too much about what's actually happening at the moment. That's also the reason why I hate things being thrown onto me at the last minute, even though I do plan with quite a bit of elasticity.

In other situations, though, like graduations, concerts (in which I'm playing,) tests, and the like I think about the present quite a bit.

In the end, I think about the future the most...and how I'll be the world's most renowned Astrophysicist with my own private island loaded with a 5 meter telescope! :P :eek:
