I think the Akira class was modeled after the old NX class vessels.It was a good design then and a good design now!

I agree with it being a tribute to the NX class.

UPN is a pretty bad network,the only thing I watch on it is Enterprise!

I liked "7 Days" too! Parker was a funny guy! (He's on "The District" now playing a cop.)

There is a TNG book out where the crew of the Enterprise-D meet the X-Men,it was a piece of crap book!

My all time favorite Star Trek book is "Crossover" by Michael Jan Friedman,its a great story about Mr.Spock and some of his reunification followers that are captured by the Romulins.Capt.Picard is sent to the neutral zone while Stafleet trys to figure out what to do.Also on board the Enterprise-D is Admiral McCoy as an advisor.

Meanwhile Scotty hears about Spock and returns to Earth and steals an old Constitution Cass starship (Which was an orbiting museum) Installs the old romulin cloaking device that was on display and warps off on a rescue attempt.I've read this book a couple of times now,its really good!

I've also enjoyed Peter David's "New Frontier" series and the "New Earth" books as well.

I'll wait until the encore on sunday,Enterprise comes first before any other show.

Wednesday night is going to be a great night of TV!!!! I've already told my friends and family that I am not to be desturbed between the hours of 7pm-9pm wed.I've got the popcorn ready to pop!

Actually smoking is allowed on submarines,a friend of mine that was in the Navy spoke to me about his captain smoking big ole stinky cigars on board.

I was in the Army and we use to smoke in our tank!

I am trying to quit now,I've gone from 2 packs a day to 1 pack lasting about a day and a half.

I've been to about 8 conventions. At one I even shared an elevator with George Takei!!! He is a really nice guy to chat with.

Yeah the UN is pretty worthless now.They gave Saddam resolutions back in 91 and for 12 years did nothing when Saddam would not comply.

I will not refuse to watch any Star Trek! I have seen every episode of every series to date.I enjoy them all very much including Enterprise.To me they are all equal,every series has had great episodes and evry series has had bad episodes.

I don't think anyone should be kicked off,I like them all.But I would like to see more Porthos episodes!

Don't get me wrong now but I fully supported the war in Iraq,I may hate Pres.Bush but I hated Saddam even more.I have more support for the troops than the president.I don't believe Bush to be trustworthy and thats my bottom line.

I'm glad the war in Iraq is coming to an end and the troops will be returning home soon,But I'll be more happy once Bush is voted out of office *Keeps fingers crossed!*

Now if any of the oil from Iraq starts being sold to American corperations that have ties to Bush and his buddies then I will definatly be outraged.Personally I'm all for removing the troops and putting in a Muslim peacekeeping force,that way the rest of the world can't say America invaded Iraq to take over its oil production.
