Congratulations to all!

I'm watching a movie at the moment, an awful movie, called 'Raumschiff Surprise - Periode 1'. It's a sci-fi which seems to be an unusual spoof of Star Trek. Here's the description in the paper of it -
"'Raumschiff Surprise - Periode 1' (2004, comedy) Michael Herbig, Rick Kavanian. Captain Kork and Mr. Spuck travelling through deep space aboard their phallic-shaped ship, are summoned to save the Earth from being taken over by Martians"They seem to have gone back in time to the medieval period at the moment. Oh my! They've just started singing.
Anybody else come across something like this before?

I like chess, I used to be quite good. I'm more of a backgammon player now. Any other backgammon players on the site?

I can't see Nimoy coming out of retirement, he wouldn't come back to guest star in 'Boston Legal' with Shatner so I doubt he'd do it for anything. I think I'd be quite happy with Levar Burton taking the reins, he's done a great job with directing some episodes and has always been heavily involved in the franchise.
I'd love to see Patrick Stewart coming back for another movie, wouldn't be the same without him, although I may have to pop over the water to see him with the RSC.
As regards to Data's return: I like the Q idea but only becuase it would mean Q being in the movie which I would love, John De Lancie (yes ussacclaim you spelt his name correctly) has always been enjoyable in Trek. I think though that if they were to bring Data back it would be through B4, he was essentially an empty vessel until they found him, with a few hidden commands, but he was filled with all of Data's memories and Picards smile at the end of the movie does indicate that Data wasn't truly lost and will survive through B4.

Do you think it depends on whether they can see the person? Deanna could read the emotions of people on ships when they had visual communication with the ship but I can't remember her ever commenting on the emotional tone of a person or crew of another ship when communications were closed. If she could then she would have been able to tell Picard when there was a cloaked ship nearby because she would be able to feel their emotional presence.I agree that only a few like Tan Albran would have the ability to do it but his mind was so bombarded with other's thoughts that he probably wouldn't be able to distinguish his own crew's thought from the enemy crew's quickly enough.
Maybe so. It would make sense if they had to see them so they could have something direct to focus on. If all Betazoids were as powerful as Tan Albran then I'm sure it could be possible.

I liked The Doctor and Seven the most, their relationship was the most interesting and enjoyable on the ship.

The traditional day for putting up the tree over here is the 8th of December, usually later.
Does everybody in the US erect theirs after Thanksgiving, is that the tradition?
-
I can't recall a date either. Try asking one of the guys who own the Season Four DVDs.
-
That's quite cool, I'd like to have had them.

Your girlfriend obviously knows you well, nice gift. I like Star Trek Experience one.
-
I was responding to the original post.
As a response to your post though I'd agree that Deanna and her mother are quite nice (although I don't like Deanna at all). We don't really know enough Betazoids to be able to judge them as regards to whether they would be willing to go to war or not but my instinct says that they're not.

I always get a real tree, much nicer than the artificial ones. There's no Christmas scent off an artificial tree.
-
I don't think so. Most Betazoids can only read the minds of people they're in relatively close proximity to so they wouldn't really be able to tell what enemies on another ship are thinking. I know Troi was only half Betazoid but I always thought that she was more in the way on the bridge than anything else.

It's been mentioned many times that Klingons have longer life spans than humans, whether this is natural or due to advancements in the emdical field we can't be sure but I presume that it is just their natural lifespan that is substantially longer than humans.
-
You'll need to set a time.
-
That's annoyed me now. One night in a new time slot and the show gets cancelled, that's ridiculous.
-
Sounds like a bit of fun to me, I'd be up for that.
-
Why the laugh?
I quite like 'Threshold', that's a shame really, another good show gone!

Definately season four for me. I enjoyed this season much more than the first three. Season three turned me off 'Enterprise' but season four got me straight back into it.
