  1. I was actually pretty likeable in high school...I got along with practically everyone and even hung around the popular kids a lot. They all knew I liked Star Trek and even took one of my 'popular' friends to a Star Fest to meet John Travolta...Most people I knew had some kind of movie or series of sci-fi that they liked and didn't care that I happened to love Star Trek.

Now, middle school...that is a whole other story...Let's just say I was glad I didn't go to any of the high schools that the kids from my middle school went to. Kids are so mean.

  2. Me:

If you were a Hobbit, your name would be Jevyan Proudfoot

and if you were a (female) Man, your name would be Oliwia

and if you were an Elf, your name would be Hoviel

and if you were a Dwarf, your name would be Cinoic

and if you were an Orc, your name would be Pudush

Your nearest Tavern might be called The Drunken Cow

and your sword would be called Gomthaol

  3. Hmm..."The Dominion has endured for over 2000 years and will continue to endure long after the Federation has crumbled into dust..."

I think Weyoun was maybe in his first or second clone in the Gamma Quadrant when Shran was alive...

So, no not past life...I agree that he was just another brilliant JC character....

  4. At first, I really didn't like Bashir's character...But the more I watched him with his friendship with O'Brien and Garak, the more I liked him...

Finding out he was genetically engineered also lead me to be more interested in his character. I felt I had more respect for him since he knew a lot more than he let on...It was an interesting twist for his character.

  5. Hmm...You named most of the fun, lighter ones that I can think of...

"In the Cards" was always a favorite one of mine...I loved that character that went on about the 'Soulless Minions of Orthodoxy'...

"Take me out to the Holosuites" was a warm hearted one as well....

"Fascination" had it's fun moments with the crew all making out with each other and stuff....

"Badda Bing Badda Bang"...I think was the one where they try to help Vic from losing his casino...That was interesting in a fun way...

"Trials and Tribble-ations" was a fun one as they went back in time...I enjoyed that one...

"You are Cordially Invited" was one of the happier ones for the Jadzia/Worf fans...

"Who Mourns for Morn" was a bit fun to me, as everyone was after Quark for his 'awarded' fortune from Morn...

  7. I voted for Odo and Kira...

I like how it took almost six full seasons for them to finally realize they were meant to be...

But yea the ending of the series was depressing how Cassidy lost Sisko, Worf lost Jadzia and Kira lost Odo...Geez, I'm all sad now...Mainly for Kira and Odo...I have to go cry now...

But that's what I like about this series...It didn't really end happily ever after...Left all kinds of unanswered questions...

  8. I think that's why DS9 is my favorite because of how dark it is...

I especially love the brooding Cardassian design...

I also enjoyed the frailty of trusts among the Federation, Bajorans, Klingons and Cardassians...

All the stories were so deep and thought provoking...Even the recurring guest stars really set the mood and made it more interesting...

Ira Steven Behr and Michael Pillar did excellent work with this series...I'm so glad they handled DS9 for the most part.

  9. Avery Brooks made a very good Klingon in Apocalypse Rising!  Colm Meaney just looked fat (which he's not!) and Rene Auberjoinos just looked sad in that episode.  But Brooks was right on.

:naughty: LOL, I agree...Sisko made a very convincing Klingon...

I forgot, but did Odo shapeshift into a Klingon for that ep? Or did Bashir help him with that as well...?

  10. I doubt it, maybe I'm wrong.  First of all I don't think a movie with an unknown cast will be a draw AND the concept of Star Fleet academy doesn't appeal to me.

A movie based on the academy wouldn't have the action of life aboard a ship and it sounds like a teen movie - which may be where they are trying to take ST

My thoughts exactly! I posted something like this in another forum...

I also agree with Ace and Rikerchick...Give us some time...I also didn't like how the Nemesis movie was the last one for TNG...One more TNG movie, please!...or, TNG and DS9 together...yea. :dude:

  11. I voted for Suliban since they're not that fun to watch...

Degra was the only Xindi I liked then they killed him so I guess I should have voted for Xindi since there's no one to look forward to with them.

If they cut off the Andorians, I would stop watching since that would mean the end of Jeffrey Combs...Shran is the greatest after Weyoun and Damar...heh. :dude:
