Anyone here ever use a line or a quote from Trek to impress a date, teacher or anyone?
I used several when I met my wife like
"I dream of a galaxy where your eyes are the stars and the universe worships the night." Riker, I don't remember the episode, but he was talking to Guinen trying to teach Wesley how to talk to women.
She loved it!
Or I used to quoted Shakespear and other Litature greats to my teachers from lines I picked up for Trek, like my signature.
"Angels and ministers of grace defend us"
"What a piece of work is man..."
"2nd Star the the right and then on till morning..."
I could go on and on. Anyone else?

You don't have to be going through puberty to be confused. I'm confused most of the time and I'm 32. But I agree with the idea Jeanway.

I'm posting when I should be working, but since there really isn't much work to do I'll post.

When I was younger I used to have a reoccuring dream that I was floating in a black void with no physical body. The only thing I could detect was a pinpoint of light in the far distance, and no matter how hard I tried I could not reach it or even move hence the lack of physical form. I had this dream often and for many years. Someone once told me I was having an out of body experience. I don't know it was just weird. :wack: I have not had it for years, but I still think about it from time to time.
When I was about 5 years old I had hated manicans. Especially the headless ones at the department stores. I had a dream when I was 5 or 6 that they were in my room surrounding me. I hid in my covers and finally jumped from my bed and woke both my parents up crying hyserically. (Maybe my mom let me watch too many twighlight zone episodes) It was the most real nightmare too this day. I still look back and get chills cause it was so real. :fear: I guess dummys are drawn too their own kind. :b-day:

It has rekindled my love of Trek. I have starting watching more episodes and movies and reading books again. And allot of memories have come back. When I was in my late teens I could have mastered Trivia. I have forgotten allot. I guess that is what comes with old age. and a large family.

Hmmm. I usually hear about these things on the various news casts I read on-line but have not about this one. Maybe it's a conspiracy to keep it from me. :fear: Or mayb I have been spending too much time in here. I will investigate.

I'd have to say vampire. I would much rather suck the blood out of some unsuspecting village woman them run around naked and eat people raw. Don't get me wrong, I love werewolves, just had to vote vampire in this poll. It's the intelligence factor. :vampire:

That's called putting your foot in your mouth. I used to do it often. The best thing to do is weigh out your repsonse before giving it. Even if it means pausing a few moments before you speak.
