  1. The only way I would want to see the Q on Enterprise would be if they had not evolved to that omnipotent state yet but were close.

that would be really cool, maybe Enterprise can do something that would make Q believe that humans are savages, therefore his encounter with Picard in TNG..

  2. i definitely agree Prometheus..

Voyager just had it to got damn easy, the whole series had that feeling.. the most troublesome issue was Neelix spicy food..

And the most dangerous and fearsome enemy was...... THE KAZON?! Oh, now that is really frightening..

  3. The personalitys and relationsships on voyager is probably what I think gives the series a lesser grade then the others..

At first i think there is a much higher percentage of REALLY annoying persons :wow:

like Neelix  and Kez (who has her moments but is to much of an angel)..

Harry Kim also irritates me sometimes, don't know why i'm afraid.

And then we have Janeway, who sure is a great actress, but she just doesn't have that respect that a captain should have.. just doesn't feel right..

I'm not saying i dont like the series, i love them all, but voyager is far from TNG as i consider "perfect" B)

  4. guess your right.. just think that Voyager is really screwing up the timeline a lot more then any other series so far.. The whole series a lot more unprofessionally produced.. In a Trek way, of course

I'm afraid I haven't seen the other episode you refer to, didn't catch them all on TV, and i'm only done with the second season so far, am downloading them all..

  5. Bakula Bird: good that you express your opinions..

And i tend to agree with you..

I don't think the series have a pattern that the first seasons are always the worst, and not the other way around either..

They just have some bad and some good, and some really good, just like everything else

For example, Voyagers first season was not so astonishing, but the second one had some great episodes..

I think the Enterprise has started of really good, but can of course get even better I hope..

TNG was great all the way through, long live Picard.. I got to admit, I would still have to choose TNG in a best series poll, the crew is so great..

    now im babbling.. sorry :wow:

  6. Another thing that has got me thinking about the episode that i also discussed in my last topic..

This new "reality" that Harry enters.. Is this only there when he is there? And will it disappear when he is gone? That can hardly be true..

This must rather be another dimension, another world. And the rules of the prime directive should apply just as same as if he was visiting another planet.

Why can he now try to tell everyone about it, and then blow up a ship and kill Paris.. These incidents will most surely affect that dimension and that should be a direct violation against the Prime Directive..

And even though Paris is in that dimension doesn't mean that he is but one person.. He must exist in both places.

And so killing him there won't change anything on Voyager, since he is already there, and so Harry just killed Tom Paris in that dimension, end of story.

Also it is very strange that Tom Paris exists in this other dimension, but Harry Kim does not until he is brought there? Does the "other" Harry just disappear when the shuttlepod goes through to later on reappear again when he is gone..

The whole Episode is a little confusing.. Does anyone have another view or explanation?

By the way, I really like Voyager, so I am not just trying to badmouth the series :wow:

  7. I watched episode 2x05 - Non Sequitur the other day. The episode when Harry returns to earth in another reality when he accidently enters the timestream with his shuttlepod..

I have just started watching Voyager, but if I am not a total a$$hole it is after TNG in trek timeline.. and isn't earth supposed to be a civilized and "good" planet where no violence or crime or other things like that occur any longer.. But still Paris is drunk and volatile, it just doesn't fit my idea of earth as it is descriped.. I guess i am taking Piccards describing the wrong way..

Hmm.. this is just a small thing, I know.. but yet, what are your thoughts?

  8. I'm not sure i agree on that bridge design thought.. I think the NX-01 is the smallest and less advanced (which it of course should be). Just look at the crews and captains quarters and compare it to all the other Star Trek series. I think the design of the ships are very good if you look at it from a timeline perspective.

  9. Travis has not yet "proven" himself, not the writers has given him much space. This episode will probably make him a lot more popular. At least we will find out if the producers not only choose him for his body  even though I can imagine some girls seeing the show only for all the good-looking men in it..

  10. I voted for mixed cast.. even though it would probably not work, because they would then have to take 1 hour of show just to create relations, if they were together in the series we already know how every member is related to each other..

I want to vote on TNG but since that is not an option I would put DS9 in second and Enterprise in third.

  11. Only saw it once since it didn't play very long here in Sweden, at first it wasn't supposed to show at all, but a little protest from us Trek fans made it possible..

One of the best movies of them all! Great battle and Shinzon was perfect!

  12. Trip/Reed is that good old friendship feeling, Archer/Trip are the brothers.. And T'Pol/Trip arguments are very often a great amusement.. Why not stop the attempt to pair T'Pol and Cap. Archer and try out Trip and T'Pol, would work much better, their chemistry is great..

  13. A really good episode indeed, not a dull moment, though the catwalk has been used a bit to much..

A thought.. if these aliens were so advanced, why could the Enterprise easily leave and then totally destroy it with only some torpedos..? seemed a bit to easy, not like star trek is supposed to be :) Otherwise a great episode.
