I heard on this board some month ago about a TNG Technical Manual.. I was wondering if anyone had read it and had some comments.. And maybe some idea where I can find it and buy it?
I find Technical issues very interesting so I would really appreciate your help!

Trips comic skills are really a great asset to the show, he has a charm that is way superior to all the others on NX-01, however my fav. character is Reed, the little warmonger

I was just watching the season 2 finale Shades of gray, when Riker is infected by a microbe and only certain endorfins can remove them. Therefore he has to relive memories..
These memories really annoyed me, at many places he is unconscious or not even there, how can he remember things that he didn't know about? For example when Cap. Picard orders a transport on the bridge when he is down on a planet..
Where they really that bad at producing those days?

I have already started to burn the first season on VCD, it is cheap and the quality of the mpegs are pretty good..
Thanks for the artwork tips!!

I voted Archer or Tucker.. They have been in dangerous situations before..
Was about to choose Reed, but then he might leave me behind if something happens "sacrifice the few for the many".. He is beginning to grow out of it, but not completely yet, I believe..

I vote Cease Fire, the episode had it all!
And very interesting to see Archer and Shran become pals

In one episode of TNG Picard mentioned that his family was one of the first to settle the Mars colony but I don't know a date. Has Mars been colonized in Enterprise's time. Maybe the Enterprise could be brought back to Earth and stops at the Mars colony and meets Picard's ancestor. That would be so cool!
I think mars has been colonized.. don't know if that many live there though..
-
I think it is really cool to see all the species in their early stage, klingons, vulcans and everything.. It is really interesting to compare things with what we know they will become.
-
Enterprise is really taking the next step, the characters are evolving and Archer has finally become a captain.. Still i think has a bit to many "speaches".. At the beginning of the series i liked T'Pol best, but i now i dont like her at all, she has become neither human or vulcan.. hmm.. Looking forward to the season finale, I think it will be the greatest episode yet!

i think Enterprise should be a bit more both dramatic and maybe scary.. but i do like where the series is going

Ah, there we go! Done and done!Except, I have one more thing to ask...why bother with the little communicators, then? You'd only need them for away missons...Oh well, I guess both is good.
In my opinion it would only work on the bridge. Every where else you'd have to hit your communicator because what if you're walking through a deck with someone and you say engineering as part of the conversation... wouldn't make sense, thus it would only be practical on the bridge.
oh, sorry, didn't notice that someone had already answered

Except, I have one more thing to ask...why bother with the little communicators, then? You'd only need them for away missons...Oh well, I guess both is good.Isn't it so that the com badges are also used to locate people, for transports and so on?
And it could also be that only the bridge and other vital places, like transporter or engineering, have these direct com links.. Since it could be interrupting if they had it on, for example Ten Forward..
-
i would guess that the computer opens the channel as it recognizes that Picard want's to take to transporter room, or sick bay.. Notice that he always touches the com badge when he is down on a planet.

i dont think Nemesis achievements on the box office is a negative thing, more likely is that Stewart would return because he feels he want's to end on the top

Couldn't just be that Data is trying to be more human?
not that it doesn't irritate me a bit to, since he says in Datalore, that the difference between them is that he does not use contractions. And if he is supposed to be a machine, that should always be the case. Unless he is quoting someone, that is.
-
well, the episode was pretty good.. but a bit slow i think.. and the moral message became a bit too loud, still i rate it a 6 out of 10.. Haven't seen a bad episode of Enterprise yet
-
hmm... could TNG go on withouth Picard..
could TNG go on without Picard AND Data? NOOOOO!
It's over.. they have to think of something else for the next movie, mixed cast would be the best choice

My question is why did janeway get promoted before Picard? I have asked this before in st.com but think about it......Picard (and crew) has distroyed every ship in his comand!! yet starfleet still gives him more ships !!! what does any one else think ????
Picard has been offered to rise in the ranks, but he doesn't want to.. He loves to be an explorer, and captain and i think that is where he fits best..
Yet Janeway, as i dont think is as good captain as Picard, has extended knowledge from the Delta Quadrant, and I think she much more likes a desk then to risk being lost again
-
Picard is of course the winner of this poll.. I would much rather server with him since he isn't the same warmonger as Janeway, Picard would never attack anyone unless there are extreme circumstances..
-
not that i would like to be witheld information, but the vulcans were right, earth was not ready, and it is hardly now, but archer is learning and that is what makes the series so good, archer makes a lot of mistakes but it's the learning that makes it interesting.

A really, really tought vote, but i choosed FC, Nemesis and insurrection.. This might change to NEM, FC, INS when I have watched Nemesis a few more times..
-
The dark and evil Shinzon ship really got to me, a great battle! Close call between that and the borg cube..
-
I never noticed about the deck blooper.. Had to see the movie again, and heard it, hilarious
-
i tend to agree that Star Trek V is the worst movie of them all.. It never really got to me, the only really good scene is the Row Row Row.. Otherwise.. no, just doesn't work..

They give shots everywhere in all of the series, so I don't think it matters..
