I think what VoyagerRecruit said about heated debate at other sites over the film may be why discussion has possibly trailed off here. It seems that the vast majority of STF members really liked the movie. There were a few minor nitpicks (like about the lack of Romulan ridges) but members here for the most part embraced the movie. When people agree on a topic the discussion ends quicker than if there are differing opinions.

From Zap2It:
'Futurama' voice cast may be replacedBy Hanh Nguyen
July 20, 2009 8:42 AM
"Futurama" is known for its whimsical humor, but when it returns to Comedy Central in 2010, it may sound a little funnier.
The original voice voice cast -- Billy West, Katey Sagal, Tress MacNeille, John DiMaggio and Maurice LaMarche -- may not return to the futuristic cartoon, and voice casting to replace them will soon be underway, report the trade papers.
"We love the 'Futurama' voice performers and absolutely wanted to use them, but unfortunately, we could not meet their salary demands," studio 20th TV said in a statement Friday. "While replacing these talented actors will be difficult, the show must go on."
Comedy Central has already ordered 26 new episodes of the show to premiere next year.
The second level of the negotiation process: the "we'll replace you with someone cheaper" stage.

From Associated Press:
LOS ANGELES (AP) — Los Angeles police say actor LeVar Burton was involved in a five-car accident but wasn't seriously injured.Detective Judy Acosta says Burton's 2006 Mercedes was on Beverly Boulevard in West Los Angeles at about 7:40 p.m. Monday when a 74-year-old woman in a 2006 Scion turned left in front of him.
Acosta says the cars collided. Burton's vehicle then hit a parked car, leading to a chain reaction that damaged two other parked cars.
Acosta says both drivers complained of pain, then were examined at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and released. Nobody was ticketed.
Burton, 52, was in the TV miniseries "Roots," "Star Trek: The Next Generation" and was the longtime host of "Reading Rainbow."
