ddillard 2 Posted September 15, 2003 (edited) Okay, the topic of Politics in the chat room has come up and I am asking you as the members to help me in making the decision as to whether or not Political chats should be allowed to be scheduled in the chat room. Please understand that if these chats are permitted that the views and comments expressed will not be those of startrekfans.net (whether these views are expressed by a member, a MOD, or an Admin of the site) These chats would also be "Risian" chat, meaning that it may become "heated" and that it's for adult (non-sexual of course) discussion of politics. By saying "adult" that's not to disqualify any age group from joining in, just to indicate that it's for mature discussion and debate about real issues. Also, if these chats are permitted there will be a disclaimer that will repeat in the chat room every five minutes reminding all members in the chat room of the above disclaimer. I have set this up as a Poll only as I do not want this to become a heated debate. PM me if you have any questions.
