VaBeachGuy 12 Posted February 16, 2004 One of the songs I recently posted got me thinking about famous homes, it was the line that said "Blessed Graceland Whispers To Me". I've posted pictures of the homes that I can think of and that I've visited at one time or another. These are all in the United States because I've never been to any other countries, what homes have you been to that are famous? The White House - Washington, D.C. Click for Spoiler: --------------------------- Graceland - Memphis, Tennessee (Home of Elvis Presley) Click for Spoiler: --------------------------- Mount Vernon - Mount Vernon, Virginia (Home of George Washington) Click for Spoiler: --------------------------- Monticello - Charlottesville, Virginia (Home of Thomas Jefferson) Click for Spoiler: --------------------------- Arlington House - Arlington National Cemetery - Arlington, Virginia Click for Spoiler: The last one is one many people may not know at first mention as a home. It is now the most honored military cemetery in the United States but it was once home to General Robert E. Lee.

shadowfigment 0 Posted February 17, 2004 VBG, I have been to and seen The White House, Mt. Vernon and The Arlington House when I went to D.C. (and surrounding territory) for a week. Takara_Soong 4 Posted February 17, 2004 When I was on a high school trip to Ottawa, we visited the official residence of the Govenor General of Canada (at that time it was Manitoba born Ed Schryer) and we drove past the official residence of the Prime Minister (Pierre Trudeau at the time). I'm sure I've been to others but I just can't think of them right now.
Klingonmike 0 Posted February 17, 2004 I got really stoned at Janet Reno's( former U.S. Attourny General) house in Miami. Her foster daughter worked with me at the theatre I was working at and from time to time she would throw a party for us, since Ms. Reno was usually up in Washington. Who would have thought you could have a great time at the Attourny Generals house?
