Big Bad Jim parody song

Recommended Posts

Every morning on the bridge you could see him arrive

He stood six-foot-Zero and weighed two-forty-five

Kinda broad at the shoulder and wide at the hip

Everybody knew you didn't give no lip to Big Jim

Big Jim

Big Jim

Big Bad Jim

Big Jim

Nobody seemed to know where Jim called home

He just drifted into town and stayed all alone

He didn't say much, kinda quiet and shy

If ya spoke at all, ya just said hi to Big Jim

Somebody said he came from Iowa

Where he got in a fight o'er a Orion

And a crashin' blow from a huge right hand

Sent an alien fella to the promised land, Big Jim

Big Jim

Big Jim

Big Bad Jim

Big Jim

Then came the day at the bottom of the Enterprise

When a Shockwave hit and men started cryin'

Crewmen were prayin' and hearts beat fast

And everybody thought they'd breathed their last, 'cept Jim

Through the dust and the smoke of this man-made hell

Walked a giant of a man that the Crewmen knew well

Grabbed the Smoking console and gave out with a groan

And like a giant oak tree, just stood there alone, Big Jim

Big Jim

Big Jim

Big Bad Jim

Big Jim

And with all of his strength he gave a mighty shove

Then a Shipmate yelled out, there's a light up above

And twenty men scrambled from a would-be grave

now there's only one left down there to save, Big Jim

Well, the shockwave hit and blew the pannel out

But ol' Jim ended up in Iowa choppin wood with a shout.

then outta the blue came this bald headed Moron

Said he needed his help beating this Doctor Soran.

Big Jim

Big Jim

Big Bad Jim

Big Jim

So Jim and Jean Luc rode off to the Future,

Where they battled the Evil Doctor

And distracted him from firing his big missile

that would blow out the sun with one giant sizzle.

Big Jim

Big Jim

Big Bad Jim

Big Jim

The doc shot above Jim and make rocks tumble down,

and crushed ol' Jim under a stack of stones so brown,

As smoke and gas belched outta the pile

Everybody knew it was the end of the line for Big Jim

Big Jim

Big Jim

Big Bad Jim

Big Jim

Now, they never re-opened that worthless pit

They just placed a marble stand in front of it

These few words are written on that stand,

At the bottom of this pile lies one Hell of a man, Big Jim

Big Jim

Big Jim

Big Bad Jim

Big Jim

Big Jim

Big Bad Jim

"Filk" is the term for any Star Trek Parody. it comes from the first conventions, when a star was scheduled to sing folk songs that were takin from other songs and turned into a Trek parody. however, someone misprinted it as Filk, and the name stuck

I have saved these lyrics. I will soon record them with the music of Big Bad John, and post it here(if someone can tell me how) if not, I'll put it on a website, and post a link. :)
