Danny 0 Posted February 26, 2004 After Data's nightmares, he is talking to Troi and mentions his dreams were "unsettling". This implies emotion. An android cannot be unsettled or disturbed. Also, when he gives Spot to Worf (a classic scene by the way) he says "you must tell him he is a pretty cat...and a good cat" lol. About Spot, Data has probably studied a lot of research and literature regarding cats and how you should treat them. He has probably just found that you should be nice to them. Odie 0 Posted March 26, 2004 (edited) I have always believed that Data had emotions before he got the chip installed. They might not have been bright and colorful as human emotions.
