Here we go again, Paramount has hired new scribe to pen a story for the big screen.

Payne/McKay, Mark Smith and Noah Hawley all had their big screen Trek scripts poo-pooed by the studio 

Difference here is JJ is listed as a producer so maybe that'll make a difference in getting this one across the finish line.
