Best Movie made from a TV show

I know I've probably forgot a couple:

 

I intentionallly did not include

1. Cartoon to cartoon movie

2. same cast movie such as Star Trek and X files

3. where tv and movie both based on another source - Batman, Dennis the Menace

 

Also add your thoughts on the worst if you'd like.

 

Also if the mods want to add any that aren't in the above exceptions please feel free.

 

And I had to go with the Fugitive - I think that's the last movie I went to the theatre more than once to see.

Anyway...I Haven't Even Seen Most Of These....I Have Seen Dragnet I Think.

MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE! (But only the first one! The second film was horrible).

 

(I didn't like Lost in Space. It was... corny. Lol. The series was better.)

I knew I forgot something - MI should have been on there, Charlie's Angels as well but I can't edit the poll. Technically, so should the Avengers but it wouldn't get any votes.

 

I didn't see a lot of these either - most of the ones I did were mediocre and in the case of WWW unbelievably bad. I did like Maverick and I think it by far did the best job of giving cameos - I think nearly every actor that ever played in a western was in that gambling scene.

My 3rd favorite movie of all-time is probably the 1996 TV Movie "Doctor Who", with the Doctor being played by Paul McGann and Dr. Grace Holloway by Daphne Ashbrook.

i liked a few movies made from a series,but i didn't like lost in space, the series was much better.oh and the avengers pleeeease that was stupid.

"The Avengers" TV series was good, lasting from 1961 to 1969. I have every Emma Peel episode on DVD.

Ya The Avengers movie was garbage. I was highly disappointed. I used to watch The Avengers a bit, but the movie blew.
