ensign_beedrill 0 Posted December 15, 2003 Cultures throughout the galaxy have relied on stories as a means of passing wisdom and history down to succeeding generations. On Earth, storytellers like the Brothers Grimm or Aesop have imparted morals to children and adults alike with their rich tales. So why shouldn't Star Trek's rich and vast tapestry of alien cultures have their own fables and folklore? Well, they do ... This is from STARTREK.COM. They have put out a small animation called "The Legend of Gorath." It's kind of funny, but it still tells a good tale. It's basically a Klingon fable told to teach children a moral, much like Aesop's tales, mentioned above. It's kind of interesting to see how Klingons would teach their kids how to be good, honorable warriors. If you want to see it, click here. Then come on back and share your thoughts!
