Favorte Christmas CD

Since a Barnes & Noble search gave me 3, 491 CD's with Christmas in the title I am sure I left out someones favorites. Also for Christmas music I tend to focus on classical but I tried to get a balance.

 

I have over a dozen Christmas CD's and I don't know if I could pick a favorite - I added Kenny G to my collection this year - I'm enjoying listening to it right now. I have all of the Mannheim Steamroller and I've read they're the top selling series of Christmas CD's. I'd probably have to give them my vote.

 

Also like James Galway's A Christmas Carol, John Denver's Rocky Mtn. Christmas and Noel by the Mormon Tabernacle Choir.

 

And George Winston's December and The Three Tenors

 

My search at Barnes and Noble revealed there are still more I'd like and only got through about four pages.

Interesting, as I am reading this topic, I am listening to John Denver's Rocky Mountain Christmas. I purchased my original copy on vinyl many years ago (I still have it somewhere), but I now have it on CD. It's always been my favorite and I don't think that will ever change.

actually other because my favorite christmas cd is a various artists one. its one of the "a very special christmas" cds. i cant remember which one though. i think its #3

This was a tough one for me, not because of so many choices but because of 2 of the choices. Elvis and Alabama.

 

I love Elvis' Christmas songs, as I love anything and everything he sang. But my all time favorite Christmas song is an Alabama song (which I've made a Musical Mood http://www.startrekfans.net/index.php?act=ST&f=12&t=7167 ). It's Christmas in Dixie, which mentions Graceland (Elvis' home) so at least there's refrence to Elvis in it lol

 

Anyway I picked Alabama but could have just as easily picked Elvis.
