Theunicornhunter 2 Posted November 28, 2003 I received an email that I thought was e-bay related. When I opened it - it was asking me to join a BBofM group. I didn't know what that was but did an internet search for BBofM and got two sites. What suprised was that one was startrekfans.net. So maybe I'm dense but what is it? Red Shirt Volunteer 0 Posted November 28, 2003 I just checked and it's the "Big Book of Manners," which contains some Trek-related site. Undoubtedly they registered here and mailed you (and possibly others here and elsewhere) using the mail feature to attract users.

Red Shirt Volunteer 0 Posted November 28, 2003 np Oh, I don't think you even need to be registered to send mail.

Indy 8 Posted November 28, 2003 I think I might have received the same e-mail. I remember the BBofM reference. However, it went to my junk mail and I quickly deleted it.
Yillara Skye 1 Posted November 28, 2003 Both my sister(EmilSoong) and myself got that same email. *shakes head* cant figure out why though. My sister joined hoping she'd find out what it was all about, and was not told much....if anything. As for me....naw did not join, probably will not. I do not know at this time.
