master_q 0 Posted November 27, 2003 The best of the best - Classic NES I love the old games. I have played some of the newer games on PlayStation2, GameCube, and XBOX. But they don't compare to the old games (IMO). I use to own the original Nintendo system, but (to my stupidity) gave it away. I also game all my games away and I regret it. I do own a Super Nintendo system, but the majority of the games I gave away (again - my stupidity). What games do I have for the SNES? Super Mario All Stars (w/ my favorite game - Mario 3) Super Mario World Donkey Kong Country Super Punch Out MLBPA Baseball Mortal Kombat II Mortal Kombat III So let's share our love with the NES and SNES systems (And we can leave the topic pretty open to different discussions on the NES and SNES) [Why am I posting this? This time of the year always brings me back to the days of the NES/SNES.] Master Q StarTrek_Master_Q@yahoo.com

Goose 0 Posted November 28, 2003 Stardate:213907.9 I love the old systems!!!!I got a NES when I was 5 and had that one till about 6 months ago.It lasted for 17 years before it finnaly died.As a matter of fact I just got another one a few days ago!I have like over 80 games for it.My favorites are Mario 1 and 3(2 kinda sucked) and RC Pro AM. I also have a SNES as well but only have a handful of games for it.My favorites are Super Metroid,Zelda:A Link to the Past and DBZ Hyper Demenshion(I know I spelled that wrong). As far as emulators go I have a crap load of them with a lot of games. I have emulators for the following: Atari NES SNES Sega Gameboy(Its a emulator for all the gameboy versions) Nintendo 64(no games though) I have so many roms(games) that i am not even gonna mention them here If you want some PM me I would be more than happy to email them to you. Norbert's Online NES Emulator This site looked really cool but for some reason the buttons didn't seem to work very well. It said I could use either 'Ctrl' or 'Z' as my 'A Button' but Z didn't work at all and Ctrl only worked about half the time. It might just be my computer (though my keyboard seems to work the rest of the time just fine.)

Delta 0 Posted November 28, 2003 I used to have a NES and also regret the day i gave it away . I loved Mario and the original Legend of Zelda on the gold coloured cart. Oh the happy memories of game play. I now have a PS2 and Gamecube but still miss my old NES. There are great games out there today but sometimes i think the old ones are still the best. :(

master_q 0 Posted November 30, 2003 i love duck hunt Oh yeah Duck Hunt. I forgot about that game. Of course - I remember cheating - standing right in front of the TV (but I'm sure almost everyone did that, lol) Yesterday I was playing Super Mario All Stars - specifically Mario 3 (and I beat it!). It brings back memories. Here is a video clip of someone beating Mario 3 in about 11 minutes: Click Here Happy Holidays Master Q StarTrek_Master_Q@yahoo.com

master_q 0 Posted December 1, 2003 I doubt that I could beat the game in 11 minutes. I probably would be able to beat it in 35(+) minutes, but I don't know for sure. Next time I play the game I'll record the time and post it. Happy Holidays Master Q StarTrek_Master_Q@yahoo.com

jefffitz 0 Posted December 6, 2003 I just bought an NES system at the thrift store a couple months ago. I only paid $7 for the system itself, and you can find great deals on Ebay for games. If you are REALLY interested in the old gaming systems, you're going to have to invest in an Atari. You can get games cheap for the 2600 on Ebay,( but you'll get the best deals at flea markets and yard sales you just have to put in the time). If you're really interested send me an email and I'll tell you the best place to buy used equipment on the east coast. P.s. If anyone has instructions to the Atari 2600 Star Trek SOS game, please let me know. Jeff
