Pretend for a moment that it is your wife or husband that is cloned then killed. How would you feel about the clone coming in and taking your spouse's place? If I had a wife who died and was cloned with all her experriences, memories, and maybe even personallity, I'd believe that she could fill why deceased wife's career and function as a member of society, but she would not be my wife, rather, a new person.
