Captain Holland 0 Posted November 17, 2003 (edited) I have news that DS9 will begin playing on Spike TV sometime in 2004. TNN acquired the rerun rights for Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Star Trek: Voyager and the first five Trek films in November, 2000. Next Generation reruns began in fall 2001, with Deep Space Nine and Voyager repeats to follow in 2004 and 2006, respectively. I got this from Trek Nation.com, I'm happy! Too bad I still have to wait till next year if they continue with their plans. Edited November 17, 2003 by Captain Holland
Captain Jean-Luc Picard 1 Posted November 17, 2003 Does this mean that UPN, nor anyone else, can show movies 1-5?

Tank 0 Posted November 17, 2003 I'll definatly be happy to have DS9 on air again in my area but I still think it sucks that TNN has to chop up the shows to fit extra ad time in. I guess we'll probably start getting DS9 Uncut every week as well.

Captain Holland 0 Posted November 17, 2003 (edited) Does this mean that UPN, nor anyone else, can show movies 1-5? I'm not sure, as far as I know no station does play the Star Trek movies. Edited November 17, 2003 by Captain Holland
ddillard 2 Posted November 17, 2003 The Spike contract does not give exclusive rights for them to play the episodes and movies so other stations can still play them if they pay Paramount for the privelige.
